ERAY BINTAS

ART DIRECTOR / PRODUCTION DESIGNER

I worked as the art director on the Netflix docuseries Testament: The Story of Moses. The project involved months of in-depth research, concept development, and location scouting across Turkey, Tunisia, and Morocco, before production ultimately moved to the legendary Atlas Studios in Ouarzazate—home to iconic films such as Gladiator, Kingdom of Heaven, The Mummy, and Aladdin.

We designed and built thrones, Egyptian furniture, chariots, weapons, and countless props, all of which were shipped to Morocco for the shoot. Although I wasn’t able to be on set in Morocco, the preparation and build process itself became a story of its own. The series was directed by Benjamin Ross, produced by Karga Seven Pictures, with production designers Zeki Sarayoğlu and Nina Kobiashvili.
