In 2022, I worked as the production designer on two episodes of The Turkish Detective, stepping into the role in the middle of a fast-moving and demanding production. Taking on full responsibility under tight schedules required quick decision-making, constant problem-solving, and a high level of adaptability on set.
Produced by Miramax and streaming on Paramount+, the project challenged me both creatively and logistically at every level. I had the privilege of working closely with BAFTA Award–winning director Lynsey Miller and the incredibly talented DOP Philipp Haberlandt (Babylon Berlin, Black Mirror). The Turkish production was handled by Ay Yapım, and special thanks to Emrah Gamsızoğlu and Çağrı Aydın for their collaboration and support. it was one of those projects that truly reminds you why you love doing this work.
