In 2010, I worked as a Scenic Artist on the Ottoman-period television series Muhteşem Yüzyıl, contributing to the creation and finishing of large-scale historical sets. The work included the construction and scenic treatment of throne rooms, harem interiors, and sections inspired by Topkapı Palace, all built specifically for the production.
The project spanned several months and required meticulous attention to historical references, color palettes, and surface textures. Through detailed scenic work, we created rich and immersive environments that supported the series’ distinctive period atmosphere and visual language. It was a great experience working with Zafer Kanyılmaz, from whom I learned a great deal during the process.
