ERAY BINTAS

ART DIRECTOR / PRODUCTION DESIGNER

I worked as the art director on the feature film Fountain of Youth (2025), directed by Guy Ritchie, serving as the Thailand art director responsible for sets and locations in Bangkok. Working with a completely new crew in a different country was both challenging and energizing, pushing me to adapt quickly within a fast-paced, international production environment.

We built major practical sets, including a train cabin where a stunt fight was filmed, as well as a specially designed hut for a complex stunt sequence in which John Krasinski’s stunt double jumps from a moving train—an especially demanding and technical build. We also transformed a massive abandoned building into a fully functional action space with ramps, extensive set dressing, and storage areas to support the film’s opening motorbike chase, an ambitious, high-energy sequence that sets the tone for the entire movie.

Working under the guidance of production designer Martyn John was once again a great experience; his vision, leadership, and attention to detail were inspiring and instrumental in shaping the film’s scale and visual coherence. Being part of a large-scale Hollywood production with Guy Ritchie was intense and unforgettable, and it significantly strengthened both my creative and logistical approach to filmmaking.
